Happy Valentine’s Day! I have a special treat today: a guest post by romance writer Anna James.
Today is February 14th, Valentine’s Day. Everywhere around us people are celebrating love. Flowers are being bestowed, confectionaries given and greeting cards sent as an expression of that love. But how do you know when you’ve found it?
I was fortunate enough to find my soul-mate one week after starting my first job right out of college. He sat in the office right across from me (he was traveling on business my first week so we didn’t meet right away). I realized pretty quickly he was the one for me. So, how did I know it was love? I can tell you it was more than just the fluttering in my stomach the moment I laid eyes on him and the sizzling hot kisses we shared. It was the way he made me feel inside- you know that happiness that bubbles up inside you whenever that special someone is around. It was the way he treated me and the little things he did that showed me just how much he cared. We’ve been together for twenty-five years now and we’re still going strong.
How about you? What’s your love story? How did you know it was love?
Happy Valentine’s Day!
In Anna James’ latest contemporary romance, To Love and Trust Again, Molly Quin asks herself “How do you know it’s love?”
Four years ago Molly met Dan Berringer and fell deeply in love. Theirs was the perfect relationship. Dan was sweet and romantic. He gave her flowers just because she was having a bad day and he never put any pressure on her to do things she didn’t want to do. Then things changed. He changed.
Now, three years later, Dan and Molly meet again and he wants her back. He swears he’s changed. Can Molly believe him?
Enter Max McDermott. Max holds a top management position at the firm where Molly has just landed her dream job. He’s gorgeous and sexy and just one look from him can send Molly’s pulse rate soaring. Molly thinks there could be more if she wants to take a chance. But can she trust her feelings?
Follow Molly on her journey as she deals with hurts from the past and her feelings in the present and learns how to love and trust again.
