No matter what we attempt to accomplish in our lives, success isn’t easy. It takes hard work, dedication, effort, will, patience, and ambition. It comes easier with experience (also known as failure). At times, there is comfort in thinking we could be worse off. But there is more inspiration in hearing about someone who achieved their goals despite the roadblocks they had to overcome.
I love hearing those stories; they boost me up when I’m down. I came across this article yesterday when I finally got around to reading Chatelaine’s Holiday Issue. It is inspiring to follow others’ journeys. Anything worthwhile definitely takes hard work to achieve, but the rewards are so fulfilling.
